Terms of Service

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Lap MD. When you set up your account you confirm your age, and we record that confirmation with the version of these terms in force at the time. If we learn that an account holder is under 18, we close the account and delete the data.

You sign in with Google or Apple. Your account is personal to you. Keep your sign-in provider secure and do not let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through it.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Lap MD for your own exam preparation. All study content, question banks, diagrams, software and branding remain owned by Embedite Private Limited or its licensors. You keep ownership of the files and prompts you upload, and you grant us the limited right to store and process them so we can generate your study material.

You agree not to:

• share, resell, sublicense or publish our content, or use it to build a competing bank;
• scrape, bulk export, or use automated tools to extract content;
• share a single account between several people, or resell access;
• upload content you have no right to upload, or content that is unlawful;
• attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits or per user data isolation;
• interfere with the service, its security, or other users.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

Lap MD is a study aid. It is not medical advice, it is not a substitute for official exam materials, syllabi or guidelines, and it is not a substitute for clinical judgment or supervised training. Do not use it to make decisions about the care of any patient. Content is prepared with care, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or current, and we do not guarantee any exam result or score.

We aim to keep the service available and to keep your data safe, but the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may carry out maintenance that interrupts access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Embedite Private Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost data, lost profits, lost study time, or for exam outcomes. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one thousand Indian Rupees. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Timed mock exams are free, and no payment is taken from you today. We may offer a paid Pro tier later. If we do, prices and what is included will be shown before you pay, payment will be taken through Razorpay for payments in India or Stripe for international payments, and any auto-renewal will be disclosed clearly at checkout, including the renewal price and period. You can cancel at any time, which stops future renewals. Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

We may update these terms. The current version and its date appear at the top of this page. Where a change is significant we will tell you by email or with a notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Lap MD after that means you accept the updated terms.

You may stop using Lap MD and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@lapup.app. We may end this agreement if you break these terms, or if we withdraw the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice where we can.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
